HULK SMASH Sensory Game with DIY Mask

Little man can sometimes get a little funky when it comes to textures and getting messy and we still struggle with aggressive behaviors. We played this game at his last birthday party but, revisited it recently to encourage play with grainy, messy textures and to test my theory of redirecting the aggressive tendencies. It seems to have worked for us so far. Try it out, and let me know if it works for you!

What you’ll need:

Purple and Green Cake Cones

Lime Green Felt

Black Felt

Scissors

Hot Glue & Glue Gun (For Adult Use)

Elastic

Needle & Thread or Sewing Machine

MASK Instructions:

Cut out your Hulk Face.

Hot glue Eyebrows & Hair onto the lime green face.

Measure the elastic halfway around your child’s head. Once you’ve found a good fit, stitch the elastic on both sides of your mask.

HULK SMASH Game Instructions:

Make sure to wear your mask for this one!

Place ice creams cones top down, after counting, “1, 2, 3 HULK SMASH!” Punch down on your ice cream cones!
I recommend this play for outside since it made quite the mess inside at our birthday party last year but, you can use this game for counting, colors, sensory processing, and coping with aggressive behaviors before a meltdown.
