To kick of this Fall season, we decided to start hosting an annual Pancakes, Pumpkins, & PJ’s Party! It was such a success and I couldn’t have been more happy to see a pack of little ones gathered in the boys’ room and on our play set. It was so nice to have everyone in a comfy, less stressful environment to share in laughter and conversation.
The one thing we did that made it such a success and not a huge mess, was prepping. I prepped all of the batter the day before and pre portioned cups that everyone could just add their toppings to and pass to hubby for a few flips on the griddle.
I also prepared and chilled a spiked apple cider. Want the deets?
Spiked Apple Cider
1 gallon apple cider
1 bottle pinot grigio
3 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp pumpkin pie spice
-Mix and let chill at least 2 hours.
I also tried it with champagne and it was fantastic. I would do half a bottle of pinot grigio and once chilled, pop and add half a bottle of champagne.
