Last month, we had the chance to crash and explore Universal Orlando Resort’s FIRST EVER Value location: Universal’s Endless Summer Resort-Surfside Inn and Suites! We took advantage of ALL the perks that come with staying on Universal Orlando property and the amenities of Universal’s Endless Summer Resort-Surfside Inn and Suites!
The resort lobby is INCREDIBLE and makes check-in a breeze with it’s many seating areas and photo opps! While James checked us in to our room, the boys and I took pics in front of the surfboards, on the swinging chairs in front of a killer neon wave light, and grabbed a snack at Starbucks! (Because even though we were less than an hour from home, a car ride always makes the boys hungry!)
I can’t tell you what a huge deal this was for us! Occupying three rambunctious boys who are in TOTAL vacay mode, in a hotel lobby is never usually an easy task.
- Starbucks Coffee bar
- Plenty of room to lounge and wait during check-in/check-out
- Photo opps
- Ticket Services
- Quick access to the pool
Since living in Florida means you practically get an endless summer all year long, we were super excited that even in November we could veg out by the surfboard shaped pool and let the boys get all of their energy exerted for a good night of sleep before we hopped into the theme parks during the rest of our stay!
The zero-entry, surfboard shaped pool is perfect for kids of all ages! I love that Universal Orlando Resort really took the time to consider everything a family would want and need when staying on property! Linc spent most of his time playing in the water fountains at the pool entrance’s splash pad, which made it super easy for this uber pregnant mama to relax while he played! (31 weeks pregnant and chasing a toddler in and out of a deep pool entrance is never fun! So, THANK YOU Universal Orlando!)
- Pool Bar
- Resort-Style Pool with a kids’ splash pad area
- Daily activities for kids
- TONS of lounge chairs & umbrellas within very close proximity of the pool *Perfect for parents with little ones
- Ping Pong Table
- Hula Hoops

After the boys had soaked up all the sun and water they possibly could, we let them wild in the Game Room! Every boys dream, right?! The Game Room at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort-Surfside Inn and Suites was AWESOME! While you do have to pay to play, it’s worth every dollar! Games range from prize machines, basketball, racing games, and even TRANSFORMERS! James stayed with the boys to play while I grabbed a quick bite for the family at the Beach Break Cafe food court right next door! They had tons of options to choose from: prepared foods like burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and pastas and an array of grab and go items!
Once I ordered our food, I popped my head in to the Game Room to round up the crew and we sat at one of the super comfy booths in the food court dining area! The amount of space this resort offers in all of the public areas is FANTASTIC. We could have had our entire extended family with us to eat and still had room to share!
When it comes to vacationing, having as much space in a room as possible is a MUST for our fam jam. We’re a big family as it is and are only growing larger! While Universal’s Endless Summer Resort-Surfside Inn and Suites has standard rooms, what makes this resort SO perfect for our family, are the large 2 bedroom suites! Being Universal Orlando’s first ever value resort, they price the 2 bedroom suites at such an affordable rate that families can stay for days on end with the comfort of a kitchenette, in-room dining area, double sinks, and a private spot for parents!
2 Bedroom Suite Amenities:
- 3 Beds
- Separate bedroom with a door (perfect for parents!)
- Double Sink Vanity
- Separate Toilet Room & Shower/Bath
- In-Room Dining Area with Picnic Table
- Kitchenette with MicrowaveÂ
- Small Fridge
- Pizza delivery to your room *available for standard as well

After our first day and a really good night of sleep, we got up and out early to take advantage of the perks that come with staying at a Universal Orlando Resort property! That’s right-you still get all the perks when staying at Universal Orlando’s value resort! Early park access, free transportation, ticket services in the hotel lobby-they’re ALL included!
Park Perks of Staying at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort-Surfside Inn and Suites:
- Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, One hour before the theme park opens
- Early Park Admission to Universal’s Volcano Bay, One hour before the theme park opens
- Free shuttles
- Room-key charging
- Complimentary merchandise delivery to your hotel from Universal Orlando shops
When staying near theme parks, we don’t usually take free/public transportation anywhere. With the boys in tow and all of their things (stroller/wagon, bags, changes of clothes, water bottles, fans, etc.) it’s become standard for us to drive ourselves BUT, when we walked out of the Endless Summer Resort lobby and saw a bus queued up and ready to go to our destination, we figured “why not give it a shot?!” GAME.CHANGER.
Guys,  after that first bus ride we knew we wouldn’t need to use our car for the entire length of our stay! The free bus transportation from Universal’s Endless Summer Resort-Surfside Inn and Suites to all of the Universal Orlando theme parks was one of the highlights of our trip-Seriously! Each trip took us less than 5 minutes and not once was our bus overly crowded! We had plenty of room for all of our things while each driver was helpful and patient, allowing us to take as much time as we needed loading onto their bus! Take the free transportation, friends! You’ll save time and parking costs which means MORE memories in the Universal Orlando parks!
We had such an amazing time at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort-Surfside Inn and Suites and can’t wait to bring the boys back once we’re a family of SIX! This trip was one for the books and sent us home with memories that are sure to last a lifetime!
A HUGE “Thank you” to Universal Orlando Resort! Â
